This Privacy Policy applies to www.moneyhash.io, its subpages and blog (together, the “Website”), and to the software, platform, APIs and related services we provide (together, the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party websites, services or products, even where they link to or are linked from our Website or Services. We do not control or operate those websites, services or products and assume no responsibility for them. You should carefully review the privacy policies of such third-party websites, services or products before deciding whether to provide any personal information.
References to “MoneyHash”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean MoneyHash, Inc. and, where applicable, the MoneyHash affiliate that contracts with you or operates the relevant Services, including MoneyHash Technologies, Ltd., registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), United Arab Emirates, and Moneyhash Company LLC, incorporated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This Privacy Policy is intended to address applicable data protection and privacy laws, including, where applicable, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations, the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 (as amended), which applies in place of the UAE federal regime to processing carried out by our DIFC entity, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act and other applicable US state privacy laws, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other applicable data protection laws in jurisdictions where MoneyHash operates or provides the Services.
MoneyHash handles personal information in different capacities. When we process personal information for our own business purposes, such as operating the Website, managing Merchant accounts and relationships, marketing, security, fraud prevention, and meeting our legal and regulatory obligations, the relevant MoneyHash entity acts as a data controller (or equivalent role under applicable law). When we process personal information contained in Merchant transactions or customer data solely to provide the Services, the Merchant generally acts as the data controller and MoneyHash acts as its processor or sub-processor, subject to the applicable agreement and data processing terms. In that context, the Merchant’s privacy notice governs its end customers’ personal information.
Where MoneyHash acts as a processor or sub-processor, the Merchant determines the purposes and means of processing and is responsible for the applicable lawful basis, notices and data-subject communications. MoneyHash processes such personal information on the Merchant’s documented instructions, subject to the applicable agreement and data processing terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We use this information to operate, secure, analyze and improve the Website and Services.
